NLTT 43806 - aftermath of terrestrial planet collision?

An aluminum/calcium-rich, iron-poor, white dwarf star: evidence for an extrasolar planetary lithosphere?

Elemental abundances in the white dwarf star NLTT 43806 suggest that it may have accreted material after a collision removed the crust and upper mantle of a differentiated terrestrial planet.
