The potential of planets around eclipsing binaries through timing
Questioned how much is now known eclipsing binary in the sky.

Here is the article says there are approximately 10 000-100 000 short-periodic eclipsing binaries from the bright stars in the sky (they can be detected even with small telescopes).
In general, the method timing transits in eclipsing binary stars may be in a few years will be the largest number of discoveries of new planets.
