Habitable conditions on stagnant-lid planets

Post by Lazarus on 25th July 2017, 3:07 pm

An assessment of whether Earthlike planets with a stagnant-lid instead of multiple tectonic plates can be habitable.

Seems that it is possible for such planets to maintain habitable conditions over long timescales, so maybe Earth-like plate tectonics is not a requirement for planetary habitability.
