Dwarf transitional disc around XZ Tauri B

Post by Lazarus on 29th June 2016, 1:35 pm

I thought I'd heard of this system before, turns out it's the one that was responsible for this rather spectacular eruption. Apparently it also contains a dwarf transitional disc that may be capable of forming a compact planetary system, perhaps somewhat similar to Kepler-444A (though the planets at Kepler-444A are below the threshold mass for opening gaps)
