HD 41004 Question

Post by Sirius_Alpha on 30th December 2013, 7:05 am

So everywhere I see references to HD 41004 Ab and HD 41004 Bb, two separate planets orbiting both members of a binary star system.

This paper, though, which seems to be the discovery paper in question, seems to suggest that the planet around HD 41004 A is not a real planet, and that there is just a single RV signal associated with the M dwarf.

So am I correct in assuming that only one (known) planet exists at HD 41004, orbiting the B component?

Discovery paper for the planet orbiting HD 41004A is Zucker et al. (2004) "Multi-order TODCOR: Application to observations taken with the CORALIE echelle spectrograph. II. A planet in the system HD 41004"
