GJ 436 observations by EPOXI.

Post by Sirius_Alpha on 11th October 2008, 12:11 pm

EPOXI spent 22 days on GJ 436 with 83% phase coverage, 8 transits observed.

To determine sensitivity to detecting low-mass terrestrial planets, they injected fake signals into the real residuals (away from transits/eclipse), and then attempted to blindly recover planetary parameters.
