Request - A Brown Dwarf from past 2007-2008
I don't know if it's the right section. If so, feel free to redirect elsewhere.
I was searching information about a brown dwarf companion orbiting a solar-like (or slightly evolved) star in Bootes.
The dilemma is I don't remember the host star. It's gotta be an HD 12xxxx something.
Maybe the substellar object has been announced but not officially published.
Anyway it lies within system snowline, I think (between 1-2 AUs).
Can anybody help me?

Hi!
An neglected brown dwarf candidate from 2001:
HD 127506 B (22 pc in Bootes) HZ=0.37 AUs
M=36 Mj P=2599 days e=0.72
Putative average separation=3.7 AUs
Accounting a high eccentricity (e=0.72), such object swings between 1.04 and 6.36 AUs.
Bye!

Nope. A solar like star. Spectral type G2V or G2IV-V.

Anything? Maybe was it in a conference paper alike Iota Aurigae's case?

I know somebody has posted a topic about in previous forum EVI.
Is there a way to access old forum's topics?

Was it HD 126681?
Radial velocities (only graphic) are available in this paper:
Sozzetti et al. (2006) - A Keck HIRES Doppler search for planets orbiting metal-poor dwarfs. I.Testing giant planet formation and migration scenarios.
Though authors do not mention any precise candidate object, I have found a brown dwarf in system snowline with Systemic console.
