Given recent thought into how the proximity of Mercury to the sun complicates observation, if we were in an extrasolar system with a hot Jupiter or a hot SuperEarth, or if such a world were in our solar system, how might it be studied?

I was wondering what you guys think of this idea. I emailed to NASA and guess they might or might not respond.

When traveling to Mars, space is an issue. So, why not send dwarf humans instead of the normal sized humans.
Any thoughts on this?

An interesting proposal for interstellar communication

You will need:

A Cepheid variable star. Getting your hands on one of these might be tricky - the nearest ones are Polaris (which seems to have various oddities which might make it unsuitable for this kind of thing) at 400 light years and Delta Cephei at 900 light years. Since yellow supergiants are probably not good candidates for hosting habitable planets, some interstellar travel capability is probably required.

A really powerful neutrino beam emitter.

Instructions:

Park your neutrino ...

I was looking at this guy's idea(link here) and I think that(more or less) it could be plausible... the problem of deep space travel for humans doesn't seem right but it looks like a good idea for finding a target planet, then working on the problem from there. Though I do not know much about the topic myself, perhaps more research could be done on this?
