Planet around Gamma-1 Leonis

Detection of a Planetary Companion around the giant star γ1 Leo

Gamma-1 Leonis is part of the binary system ADS 7724.

An additional planet is also inferred: 2.14 Mj P=1340 d a=2.6 AUs e=0.13 Very Happy

IIRC this is currently the only planet known in a giant + giant binary system. Not sure about that though.

As the paper notes, the case for the second planet is not clear, stellar rotation maybe.
