Noncoplanarity and forming planets around Alpha Centauri

Planetesimal Accretion in Binary Systems: Role of the Companion's Orbital Inclination

Seems that if the circumstellar disc has a small misalignment to the binary orbit, accretion becomes more favourable. This might allow for an expanded accretion zone around the Alpha Centauri stars sufficient to produce habitable planets, despite the negative conclusions of previous studies.
