Habitable planets around red giants?

Massive water worlds are probably the best bet for finding life around evolved stars.

Yes, but at very very wide separations from host stars. And no super-earth (or Neptune-sized) planet has been detected so far in wide orbits (at least >8-10 AUs).

That'll probably be a difficult detection, given the low mass of the planet, high separation, and such.

Indeed gas giants in outer orbits are relatively more probable than terrestrials.
